As the above volunteers know, Volunteering is an ideal opportunity to:
- Learn or develop strengths and skills (communication, teamwork, time management, positive attitude, initiative);
- Although you’re not paid, it qualifies as work experience;
- Meet new people, extend your network, and make valuable contacts;
- Build self-confidence and feel valued;
- Enjoy the satisfaction of making a difference; and
- Provide you with additional sources of positive work references.
If YOU would like to volunteer at the Cultural Centre (Thames Art Gallery, Chatham-Kent Museum, Studio One, Kiwanis Theatre), please call 519-360-1998 and ask for Tracy Gallant.
